Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you pick one of our VPS server solutions, you'll have as many as 3 different Operating Systems to choose from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They're all Linux releases and we offer them rather than offering just a single OS, since the applications that you may wish to run on the server may have specific requirements for the software environment. Each of these three has certain advantages with regard to the available plans that you may later install, but what is common between them is the fact that they're really stable and reliable and have huge communities which support them. The web hosting Control Panel options for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to give you more flexibility. When you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a matter of minutes. We also offer you the option to maintain the Operating System on your server up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're absolutely free so they won't increase the cost of your new web hosting server, but also because they are really stable and secure. Each of them is backed up by a huge community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from a myriad of software packages that you could install on your server if the application that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and because we would like to give you as much freedom as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request if it turns out that you'll need another one. We can also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
